A flexible ensemble based on a wind quintet, sometimes with guest players and occasionally instrumental or vocal soloists.
The quintet was founded in 2023 and the Consort's first public performance was with the choir in Coldstream Community Centre for their CHRISTMAS is COMING concert in December 2023.

When we discovered that we had, amongst our choir members, all the players required for a wind quintet - Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and French Horn - we determined that they could form the basis of a consort.
And then, low & behold, a quartet of recorders from choir members made themselves known.
And soloists in various shapes and sizes!
Exploring a wide range of classical music, light music, film & television music, folk arrangements and the like; the consort is now available for events - garden parties, small scale hall & church venues, guest spots in other concert programmes as well as concerts by the consort themselves.
For charity events in the locality there would be no charge - excepting to cover the performing rights where required.
